Controls & Settings
Movement Control Mode
The game offers 2 modes: "Normal Mode" which is more akin to traditional MMORPGs, and "B&S Mode" which is more optimized for the action-style combat of Blade & Soul NEO.
When you start the game, the default setting will be in “Normal Mode”, which can be changed via [Camera] in Settings [O].
You can also quickly switch modes by pressing the [Shift] + [F2] keys.

[1. Normal Mode]
- In this mode your character moves to where you left-click, or you can use the [W], [A], [S], and [D] keys.
- In this mode, your cursor will be visible on the screen. You can move your camera with your mouse by holding right-click.
- You can point-and-click to target enemies in range.
- You can further customize your options according to your preferences in the Key Bindings menu.
[2. B&S Mode]
- Use the [W], [A], [S], and [D] keys to move your character.
- In this mode, by default the camera will follow your mouse’s movement.
- In this mode, you will target what is in front of your character.
- Use the [ALT] key to bring up the mouse cursor and interact with the game’s interface.
- You can change your preferences and hotkey assignments in Settings [O].

Sprint |
Run swiftly across the ground |
Use [SHIFT] while moving forward or [W][W] to Sprint. Press [SPACE] during Sprint to Dash Jump. |

Glide |
Glide slowly through the air |
Press [SPACE] while jumping to Glide. |

Air Dash |
Soar quickly through the air |
Use [SHIFT] or [W][W] while Gliding. |

Water Dash |
Dash swiftly across water |
Use [SHIFT] or [W][W] while on water. |
|
Wall Dash |
Dash swiftly across a wall |
Automatically activated when touching a wall during Sprint, Dash Jump or Glide. |
|
Dive |
Descend quickly toward the ground |
Press and hold [S] during Glide. |
|
Surge |
Sprint following a Dive |
Activated when using Sprint after landing from a Dive |
Windstride
When doing a quest, you can click the green icon on the right to "Windstride" to a location where the quest is taking place.
Windstride requires a cost to use.

Escape
If you find yourself immobilized, you can use the Escape function to relocate yourself.
Escape can be attempted via 'System [ESC] menu → Escape.'

Text Confirmation
This option will force you to enter a text confirmation before you discard or sacrifice items of Superior rank or higher.
This offers a safeguard against making mistakes to prevent you from accidentally losing valuable items.
This option can be enabled via Settings [O] → Game → Interface → Item
