The questline begins when you receive a letter from Ku Yang, who informs you of a problem with the New Masters and asks you to meet him at the Silverfrost School in Zaiwei. Elder Kyarhun of the Namdo Clan and Ku Yang explain that Tayjin went missing, and after remembering some older conversations with him, they suspect that Tayjin might have left to the dangerous and secret Nykarri Island to train and become stronger than everybody else.
You may be the only one capable of breaking through the island’s barrier to bring Tayjin back!

Demonsbane Dungeon Stages and Rewards
Like some of the previous Demonsbane dungeons, the Hall of Trials has 20 available stages.
What makes all Demonsbane dungeons unique is that instead of Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties, this dungeon offers several stages of difficulty that increase the challenge level and may even introduce different boss mechanics through effects. These dungeon effects may include:

Periodically creates an Aftershock at the challenger's location. |

Executive Power |
Increases the Attack Power and Health of boss monsters. |

Fatal Injury |
Deals Damage over Time when the challenger's HP is below 80%. |

Triggers an effect that decreases the Recovery Rate periodically. |
|
Grudge |
Creates a Chaos Orb that increases allies' Attack Power and deals Damage over Time to the challenger when a normal monster is killed. |
|
Inspire |
Creates a totem that increases allies' HP and deals damage to the challenger when a normal monster is killed. |
|
Mayhem |
Periodically creates a Ripple at the challenger's location. |
|
Merciless |
Triggers an Attack Power Bonus and Damage Reduction effects when a normal monster is hit during a debuff. |
|
Obsession |
Has a chance to trigger a Vortex Chaos Orb during combat. |
|
Rage |
Triggers an Attack Power Bonus and Damage Reduction effects when a normal monster’s HP is below 30%. |
|
Unstoppable |
Applies Invincible effect to allies near a certain monster. |
|
Uprising |
Increases the Attack Power of normal monsters. |
All players start at Stage 1, and you will earn Demonsbane XP to unlock the next stage. Once a Stage has been unlocked, you can go back to it at any time. To see your Demonsbane Stage and XP, access the Demonsbane Scroll on the lower left next to your Unity Rank.
